Riot police have used tear gas against at least 2,000 ethnic Malays protesting in Kuala Lumpur against the use of English in local schools, witnesses have said.The demonstrators were set to march to the royal palace in the Malaysian capital on Saturday to ask for the king's support in ensuring that all schools teach science and maths in Malay.
